Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP has added two associates to its growing team of commercial real estate attorneys.
The Newark-based firm on Monday announced the hiring of Ollia A. Pappas and Charlotte M. Munday. Pappas will concentrate her practice on land use, transactional real estate and environmental matters, while Munday will focus on litigation and property tax matters.
“We are incredibly excited to have Ollia and Charlotte join our growing team,” said Kellen F. Murphy, MSW’s managing partner. “Both have impressive backgrounds that will complement our diverse commercial real estate practice. We truly look forward to helping them grow into seasoned attorneys in the coming years, as we continue to strive to provide effective legal solutions to our clients.”
Prior to joining the firm, Pappas worked as a law clerk for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Lisa Perez-Friscia, who sits in Hackensack. She recently graduated magna cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, also holding a master’s from the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University and a bachelor’s from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Meantime, Munday recently finished a clerkship with the Tax Court Judge Kathi F. Fiamingo, who sits in Mount Holly. In that role, MSW said she gained invaluable insight into the workings and decision-making process of the state’s Tax Court.
A graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, Munday obtained a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, graduating cum laude and holds a master’s in environmental science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
