A high-end furniture chain is expanding into Paramus with a new 6,000-square-foot store on Route 17, in a transaction brokered by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm said Thursday that it represented the tenant, Timothy Oulton Retail USA, in the lease at 385 Route 17. The British furniture and interiors company plans to open the story in May as a showcase for its New Jersey outlet, tapping into the site’s visibility, high-traffic location and surrounding population.
NAI Hanson’s Judy Troiano handled the assignment for the Hackensack-based firm, noting that Timothy Oulton has 48 galleries globally. Its newest location, sitting between Midland Avenue and the Garden State Parkway, is part of a redevelopment.
“With Paramus being known as one of the largest retail hubs in the United States, they were eager to locate a site here that provided them with the ability to showcase their brand,” Troiano said. “Not only will this new retail location enable them to serve the immediate Paramus area, its accessibility will attract clients from across the Tri-State area.
“With decades of experience in the Paramus market, our team consistently matches tenants with their ideal spaces and this lease is just the latest example of that history of superior client service.”
Timothy Oulton is known for its distinctive leather finishes and unique designs spanning furniture, lighting and home accessories, NAI Hanson said. Each piece is hand-crafted, with products ranging from residential to commercial use.
