A physician’s practice is relocating within Hackensack as part of a recently completed, 1,325-square-foot medical office lease by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm represented both parties in the transaction at 83 Summit Ave., a 3,000-square-foot property that is a block from Hackensack University Medical Center. The practice, Dr. Linda Silva-Karcz, will join three other tenants at the two-story building, operating in a space with four exam rooms, a kitchenette, reception and waiting area, two bathrooms and a private physician’s office.
NAI Hanson’s Dominic Fittizzi completed the assignment on behalf of Silva-Karcz and the landlord, Brian Walsh, touting the site’s proximity to the hospital and to Route 17 and Interstate 80.
“Although much of the noise in the health care real estate space tends to be generated by larger practice groups and regional health care systems, we are still seeing great demand from smaller practitioners looking for space in the northern New Jersey market,” Fittizzi said. “Our team’s deep local market knowledge and hands-on approach allows us to consistently work with smaller medical office tenants to close deals in a tight market.”
