A civil engineering firm has subleased 1,800 square feet of office space in the Bergen County borough of Allendale, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
With the new location, at 165 Chestnut St., InSite Engineering is now less than a mile from the municipality’s downtown and minutes from routes 17 and 208, according to a news release. NAI Hanson’s Jonathan Kristofich represented both parties, noting that the sublessor was looking to fill underutilized space within the 25,000-square-foot office and flex building.
“While there is concern about the office market at large, we were able to attract a high-quality subtenant to the building due to its premier location and turnkey condition,” Kristofich said. “Office spaces, such as that found at 165 Chestnut Street, typically see a great deal of attention on the open market.”
