A team of industrial brokers at NAI James E. Hanson has expanded with a new hire and the addition of an existing associate at the Teterboro-based firm.

The group, led by Scott Perkins and Christopher Todd, recently welcomed associates Dena Scott and William “Will” Ericksen in an effort to bolster its services on behalf of investors and other businesses with real estate needs. Scott joins the firm after 12 years at Newmark, while Ericksen moves to the team after coming to NAI Hanson in 2019.
The additions follow the team’s formation in 2013, when Todd joined NAI Hanson and was paired with said Perkins, a veteran broker in the region. Since then, they have negotiated 70 industrial sales and leases spanning 2.8 million square feet and $273 million in value, representing institutional clients such as CenterPoint Properties, Blackstone, Terreno Realty Corp. and Duke Realty Corp., along with dozens of other users in the market.

“At the core of our consistent success sits an endless focus on providing the highest standard of client service backed by our deep experience, local market knowledge and trusted relationships in the northern New Jersey industrial market,” Perkins said. “With the additions of Dena and Will to Team Perkins & Todd, Chris and I will be able to enhance our ability to service our continually growing network of clients to help them navigate an increasingly complicated and competitive market. We welcome them both to our team and look forward to leveraging their expertise in the months to come.”
Scott’s tenure at Newmark included leasing, acquisition and disposition transactions for office, retail and industrial clients, according to a news release. NAI Hanson added that she has cultivated extensive experience in locations research, reports generation and commission processing while also contributing significantly to business development efforts.
Scott also boasts deep experience in creating marketing presentations and data studies that NAI Hanson will leverage to drive client engagement.
Joining NAI Hanson in 2019, Ericksen has gained valuable experience working on a team with Joshua Levering, specializing in office leasing and sales, the news release said. Joining Perkins and Todd will enable him to leverage his knowledge of the commercial real estate transaction process as he transitions to industrial sales and leasing.
Ericksen holds the Argus Enterprise Certification and is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Membership.
