An optometry practice has acquired an 8,064-square-foot medical office building in New Providence, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm represented the practice, See Clear Associates LLC, in its purchase of 1811 Springfield Ave. The fast-growing operator acquired the two-story building from Bussel Realty Corp. for an undisclosed price after seeking a new location in the Summit area.
NAI Hanson’s Andrew Kirshenbaum completed the assignment.
“Although the large health care networks tend to generate most of the headlines, we are continuing to see strong demand particularly from smaller independent practitioners looking to find flexible and accessible spaces that allow them to continue to practice in a local area that is convenient to their loyal patient base,” Kirshenbaum said. “Working with a local brokerage firm has numerous benefits for these practices as our market knowledge and experience allows us to find opportunities in a hyperlocal, competitive market.”
NAI Hanson announced the deal on Thursday, touting the building’s proximity to Interstate 78 and the Garden State Parkway, as well as routes 22 and 24. See Clear Associates, which has locations in Morristown and Summit, now plans to renovate the space, occupy the entire first floor and continue to lease the second floor to a variety of medical tenants.
