A firm that prints vehicle wraps and other large-format graphics has leased nearly 11,000 square feet of industrial space in South Hackensack, according to brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm said the occupier, KDF Inc., will relocate from Rockleigh after committing to the space at 61-65 Worth St. The building, owned by The Hampshire Cos., will provide KDF with a central location in Bergen County and allow it to expand its business and continue to service the tristate area.
NAI Hanson’s Michael Walters and Fernando Garip represented Hampshire in the deal.
“Bergen County’s accessibility to major markets and existing stock of small-bay industrial assets has made it an in-demand location for a wide variety of users across different industries,” Walters said. “The 7,000 to 15,000-square-foot industrial asset class has seen heightened demand over the past several quarters due to the increased demand as e-commerce users continue to seek spaces of this type to fulfill their last mile distribution needs.
“Due to this, we were able to work on behalf of our client to secure a premium rental rate while ensuring that KDF could continue to expand their business and fill orders.”’
KDF prints large-format graphics, specializing in eye-catching vehicle wraps, three-dimensional displays, bold wall murals, banners and posters, according to a news release. Its new home is an 11,606-square-foot, single-story building with three drive-in doors, parking for 22 cars and a 16-foot ceiling height.
The property offers quick access to routes 17 and 46, as well as Interstate 80, with direct access to New York City via the George Washington Bridge and the Garden State Parkway.
