A dental laboratory has secured its first U.S. location with a newly signed lease at a Bergen County industrial building, according to brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
Based in the United Kingdom, SmileFast is taking 2,250 square feet at 80 Industrial Road in Lodi, a 64,000-square-foot property off Route 17. The deal will bring to New Jersey what the brokers described as a groundbreaking development in dentistry that brings together orthodontics, ceramics and composites, with a training and treatment platform that has trained nearly 4,000 dentists in the U.K.
NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the tenant in the deal with CCIO Realty LLC, the landlord.
“We brought SmileFast to this space because we knew the previous use was a medical laboratory, which was exactly what the company was looking for,” Lizzack said. “Our ability to recognize opportunities like this is driven by our unparalleled knowledge of the health care market and deep roster of local contacts that we can leverage to help our clients find the perfect spaces for their needs.”
In announcing the deal, NAI Hanson noted that 80 Industrial Road has 20-foot clear ceiling heights, eight loading docks, one drive-in and 1400-amp power. The building provides tenants with access to routes 17 and 46, Interstate 80 and the Garden State Parkway.
