A longtime broker at NAI James E. Hanson has earned a prestigious honor from a networking organization that recognizes top achievements by women in business.

The real estate services firm announced Thursday that the organization, Leading Women Entrepreneurs, has selected Judy A. Troiano as one of its Top 25 Intrapreneurs and Corporate Leaders for 2019. The group will recognize her at an Oct. 21 event at the Liberty House in Jersey City, where she will join a list of women business owners and corporate leaders who excel in innovation and advocacy for women.
Leading Women Entrepreneurs, or LWE, honors outstanding women in business and strives for their overall advancement, according to a news release. The organization also seeks to connect and promote high-level women entrepreneurs and executives through its respected media partnerships and a variety of strategic networking, educational events and retreats.
“I am honored to receive this recognition and to be included along with so many other strong voices working towards women’s advocacy and advancement,” Troiano said. “I hope our stories of perseverance, dedication and hard work can serve as examples to the millions of women in the workforce today and inspire women to continue to make a mark in the commercial real estate industry.”
Held annually, the LWE event honors 25 entrepreneurs and 25 intrapreneurs, showcasing women who are selected for their strong business acumen and ability to both influence and inspire within their respective fields of expertise, the news release said. The awards also offer an opportunity for honorees to share their stories and inspire those in attendance.
Working with NAI Hanson since 1994, Troiano specializes in client services with a focus on office and industrial properties across the globe. Those services include sales and leasing, investment sales and location and site selection advisory.
The Teterboro-based firm also noted that Troiano has completed transactions in locations ranging from Carlstadt to Moscow to Buenos Aires. She also holds industry designations such as Certified Commercial Investment Member and Certified International Property Specialist, while she is a recipient of the 2009 and 2018 NAI Hanson Outstanding Performance Award.
Troiano has also been a longstanding member on the March of Dimes Real Estate Committee.
“For 25 years, we have been fortunate to have Judy on our team as she has allowed NAI James E. Hanson to build a global footprint,” said William C. Hanson, president of NAI James E. Hanson. “Her hard work and dedication is not only a source of inspiration for her fellow coworkers but for women throughout the commercial real estate industry. We’re all very proud of Judy and congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”
