Real estate services firm NAI Mertz has added three new employees to start the year, including a sales associate at its headquarters office in Mount Laurel.

The company said this week that Matt O’Rorke has joined its team in southern New Jersey after serving as an intern in its corporate services and industrial real estate practices. He also interned at TD Bank in business operations and procurement and graduated last May from Penn State University, where he earned a degree in finance with a concentration in real estate.
O’Rorke is being mentored by Fred Meyer, executive vice president and director of corporate and brokerage services for NAI Mertz, and recently closed his first transaction.
He joins the firm alongside Jared Licht, a new sales associate in Mertz’s Bucks County office in Pennsylvania, and Tila Paris, who will serve as an administrative assistant in its office in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
“We are committed to recruiting and cultivating both seasoned brokers and next generation leaders,” said Barry Mertz, CEO of NAI Mertz. “Our existing team of industry veterans are embracing new recruits and mentoring them on our client-centered practices, processes and values. As we continue our rapid growth throughout the greater Philadelphia and New Jersey regions, we are pleased to welcome Matt, Jared and Tila to our team.”
Licht is a recent graduate of Penn State University and has held several positions within the food and beverage industry, NAI Mertz said in a news release. He is also being mentored by Meyer and Jeff Licht, senior vice president and team leader for the Bucks County office.
Paris is a graduate of Wilkes University and previously held management and visual marketing roles with Matus Enterprises Inc., a company comprised of 20 franchised Hallmark Gold Crown stores throughout Pennsylvania. She is being mentored by Wilkes-Barre market team leaders and vice presidents Steve Cole and Dave Weaver.
“These three individuals exhibit extreme interest in the commercial real estate industry and will be instrumental in assisting our brokers throughout the region to meet and exceed the needs of their clients,” said Dave Grove, NAI Mertz’s chief operating officer. “We appreciate the enthusiasm, unique strengths and talents these three bring to the company. We look forward to their success within the NAI Mertz organization and the commercial real estate industry.”
