Food insecurity was the focus of the latest community outreach initiative for NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co., whose team volunteered recently at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside.
The firm, which is based in Woodbridge, said the group visited the facility and packed more than 1,800 bags of pasta that will help provide meals to families across the state. That came in recognition of Hunger Action Month, an annual observance meant to shine a spotlight on food insecurity and the collective action needed to end hunger.
“Community involvement is an important part of our culture at NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co.,” said David A. Simon, the firm’s chief operating officer. “We are proud to continue supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in their mission to fight hunger, and we hope our efforts will inspire others.”
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization, distributing food and providing essential resources to families in need, according to a news release. NAIDB said its community outreach initiatives reflect the firm’s core values, extending its impact beyond real estate as it looks to support and strengthen the neighborhoods, counties and state where its clients, employees and partners live and work.
