Urban Edge Properties has all but filled a Monmouth County shopping center after securing three new leases totaling some 6,000 square feet.
According to the real estate investment trust, the deals at Town Brook Commons in Middletown include a 3,032-square-foot commitment by Kids United, a children’s youth soccer development center slated to open this year, Meantime, Power Core Studio took 1,545 square feet for a Lagree Method Pilates concept, the operator’s first, while waxing salon Sugaring NYC leased 1,411 square feet at the property at 754 Route 35.
Mike Testa of Jeffery Realty represented Urban Edge in the transactions with Kids United and Sugaring NYC, working alongside tenant brokers William Lenaz of Bennett Realty & Development and David Yablon of Katz & Associates, respectively. Gabriella Semet, the REIT’s director of leasing, handled the Power Core Pilates deal in-house.
Town Brook Commons — whose other tenants include Stop & Shop, Famous Footwear, Kohl’s, Panera and The Honey Baked Ham Company — is now 99 percent leased.
“Town Brook Commons has consistently been an important base for the community and these leases will enhance the experience by offering more of what our neighbors are looking for,” Semet said. “The convenience of new fitness experiences both for kids and adults and the addition of one of the country’s most in-demand beauty services makes every visit to the property more productive and enjoyable.”
