Three retail tenants and two office users have signed leases in downtown Summit, in a series of newly announced transactions by Newmark Associates.
According to the brokerage firm, Lexerd Capital Management is taking an undisclosed amount of space at 25 Maple St., having recently relocated and expanded to newly built office on the top floor. Meantime, Solus Alternative Asset Management signed a renewal for its second-floor office space at the building.
David L. Bieber, managing director and director of the retail division at Newmark Associates, handled the closings. He also brokered leases that brought new retail tenants to the municipality, including a commitment by Madison Reed, at 362 Springfield Ave., that will serve as the national hair color salon’s first suburban New Jersey location.
The other transactions include a deal by Circa Lighting, a lighting showroom, which chose 408-410 Springfield Ave. for its first New Jersey location, according to a news release. The company leased an undisclosed amount of space for what Newmark described as a boutique-like shopping experience for its customers.
StretchLab, the largest stretching brand in the U.S., is also coming to downtown Summit with a new space at 412-414 Springfield Ave. The site will be home to an existing franchise owner who is expanding beyond existing operations in Livingston and Morristown.
