A piano seller has opened its fifth store and its first New Jersey location, inking a 3,600-square-foot lease along Route 17 in Paramus.
NIA National Realty, which brokered the transaction, said Faust Harrison Pianos is backfilling a former Pet Valu store at 501 Route 17. The retailer will occupy the space on a 10-year lease as part of a transaction with the landlord, 501S17 LLC, which made improvements to the sign arch and contributed to a new hardwood floor that now houses more than 50 pianos.
With the deal, FHP is adding to a footprint that includes stores in Manhattan, Westchester County and Long Island in New York, along with Fairfield, Connecticut. The retailer sells piano brands such as Yamaha, Bosendorfer, C. Bechstein and Fazioli and is the nation’s leading rebuilder and retailer of heirloom Steinways, NIA said.
NIA Vice President Greg Panayoti brokered the transaction, noting that FHP joins tenants such as Eons Greek Food for Life, The Exhibit, Dental Health 360 and others Mangiamo Pizza.
