A consulting firm is expanding to more than 10,000 square feet at a New Providence office building, in a transaction announced Thursday by Newmark Knight Frank.
The company, Stafford Communications, is growing from 3,051 to 10,371 square feet at 121 Chanlon Road. It is expected to move into the expanded space this summer at the four-story, 111,000-square-foot complex owned by Signature Acquisitions.
NKF Associate Director Dan Reider completed the deal on behalf of the owner.
“121 Chanlon Road’s proximity to the Murray Hill Train Station, as well as many retail and fitness facilities is ideal for prospective tenants,” Reider said. “It is a very attractive opportunity for companies seeking a suburban option with modern amenities for their personnel.
“The spaciousness and outdoor offerings featured at complexes like this one contribute greatly to employee satisfaction and retention and offer the best of both suburban and urban environments.”
Reider touted the building’s distinctive red brick façade and a full-height central atrium, along with its mixture of automobile and mass transit accessibility. The property is one block from the train station and close to major highways such as Interstate 78, Route 24 and the Garden State Parkway.
It also sits on 6.5 landscaped acres and features amenities such as a full-service cafeteria, ample parking and executive covered parking under the building, NKF said. Tenants, meantime, have access to a host of nearby retail and fitness amenities.
