NAI James E. Hanson has negotiated a lease for nearly 1,600 square feet of office space in the Avenel section of Woodbridge.
In a news release, the firm said R.W. Smith & Associates LLC is taking 1,560 square feet at 1030 St. Georges Ave. The team of Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the landlord, Avenel Medical Center, while Equity Real Estate Brokerage represented the tenant.
NAI Hanson noted that the property, located on the border of Avenel and Rahway, is a four-story, 70,000-square-foot building with office and medical office space and on-site parking. The property is close to major New Jersey roadways including Route 1 & 9 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
“It’s no surprise that users across all sectors want to decrease their employees’ commute times to improve their quality of life and hopefully increase their productivity,” Lizzack said. “Securing space at a centrally located building near the Turnpike is a great way to try and cut down on commute time while benefiting from the high-quality space found in towns like Avenel and Rahway.”
