One Wall Partners has added a new property management executive to help the company oversee its growing portfolio of transit-oriented workforce housing in the region.
The Newark-based firm announced Tuesday that it has hired Kerri Haltom as senior vice president of property management. In the new role, the industry veteran will help manage a portfolio that is now more than 3,600 units in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as the company continues to grow through acquisitions.
“We are excited to welcome Kerri to this position,” said Ron Kutas, a principal at One Wall Partners. “The depth of Kerri’s experience at Home Properties and her success of fostering a work culture that promotes high performance and employee development aligns with our vision and values at One Wall.”
The firm noted that Haltom has spent 25 years cultivating valuable experience across a broad range of functions within the multifamily management sector. She spent 18 years with Home Properties, where, as senior vice president of property management, she developed a new organizational structure for property management operations.
She also empowered a team of 630 property management professionals to exceed company financial goals in a highly collaborative work environment, One Wall said in a news release. Haltom executed major capital improvement plans and managed operational and financial performance in eight geographic regions, with a portfolio that spanned 85 communities and 31,000 market-rate apartment homes.
Under the ownership of Lone Star Funds, Haltom oversaw the disposition of all assets.
