A new Planned Parenthood is opening in Passaic as part of a 6,000-square-foot lease at a sprawling commercial property, according to a brokerage team with CBRE.
In a news release, the real estate firm said the wellness center for women will occupy ground-floor retail space at 90 Dayton Ave. Its new home is part of a 23-building, 1.7 million-square-foot industrial and retail site on 37 acres, where it joins more than 200 businesses and retail tenants such as McDonald’s, Dollar Tree, Dairy Queen, American Thrift and others.
CBRE’s Marta Person Villa represented the landlord, Passaic Industrial Properties LLC. Catherine Salamon and Sal Bellafiore from Evergreen Commercial represented Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey, whose services will include annual exams, cancer screenings and discussions about birth control options.
“Centrally located with easy access to major highways and other transportation options, a 28,000-square-foot portion of the complex was recently converted to retail use, offering new storefronts along Dayton Avenue,” Person Villa said.
