A software company has renewed its lease for more than 9,000 square feet at a sprawling office park just outside northern New Jersey, the site of its headquarters for more than 15 years.
The deal, which was announced Tuesday by brokers with NAI James E. Hanson, will allow pcAmerica to remain at 2 Blue Hill Plaza, a 600,000-square-foot property in Pearl River, New York. The business occupies 9,237 square feet at the property.
“Markets like Rockland County remain an accessible and attractive alternative for businesses hoping to tap into the New York City metro area,” NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack said. “Although many companies are still evaluating their ongoing space needs following the pandemic, this deal underscores the strong demand for modern office space in accessible markets and our ability to help clients secure new homes or keep their current ones to achieve their long-term business goals.”
Lizzack and Randy Horning represented pcAmerica, a provider of point-of-sale software solutions to the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries with more than 50,000 users worldwide. CBRE’s Sean Morley represented the landlord, Glorious Sun Blue Hill Plaza LLC.
Headquartered at 2 Blue Hill Plaza since 2005, pcAmerica has benefited from the property’s access to the Palisades and Garden State parkways, the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and the George Washington Bridge, NAI Hanson said. The building, part of a 93-acre 1.1 million-square-foot office park, also has amenities such as a full-service cafeteria, an atrium café, a fitness center, a hair salon and a convenience store, among others.
