Principal Asset Management has secured a tenant for more than 191,000 square feet of new industrial space in North Brunswick, in a deal arranged by Cushman & Wakefield.
Brokers say Mayrock Group, an automotive manufacturer and third-party logistics provider, will occupy the full building at what’s known as Crossroads Commerce Center at 1980 Route 1. They noted that the recently completed facility has 40-foot clear ceiling heights and other modern features, while the 17-acre site provides the tenant with high exposure along the highway and easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Port Newark-Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport.
Cushman’s Mindy Lissner, Bill Waxman, Christine Eberle, David Gheriani, Jeff Volpi and Morgan Nitti represented the landlord in the 191,481-square-foot transaction.
“Crossroads Commerce Center is a high-image logistics center located in the heart of New Jersey’s distribution corridor,” Lissner said. “We are thrilled to have arranged this single-tenant lease for Mayrock Group, who will benefit from the property’s new construction and state-of-the-art facility.”
Other features at Crossroads Commerce Center include built-to-suit office space, 29 tailboard doors, two drive-in doors and 31 trailer parking spots.
