Kushner has unveiled a new brand for its fast-growing portfolio of upscale apartment properties in New Jersey, including two that will hit the market in the coming weeks.
Known as Livana, the offering will debut with projects in Fair Lawn and East Hanover that are set to launch leasing this spring, according to a news release. The firm noted that the name is a fusion of the words live and nirvana, seeking to evoke a sense of elevated living and community for renters at its properties, which it says will still be customized based on their location.
The Livana brand will encompass most of Kushner’s new developments in New Jersey.
“These new offerings will epitomize a fusion of prime location, quality product and exceptional resident service, perfectly tailored to meet the evolving needs of renters today and well into the future,” said Nicole Kushner Meyer, the firm’s president. “We’ll achieve this through elevated finishes, thoughtful amenities and communal spaces that encourage connection, serving as ideal settings for residents to interact and proudly host their family and friends.”
According to Kushner, Livana Fair Lawn will open with 307 one- and two-bedroom units for renters who are age 55 and older. The new four-story building at 17-00 Pollitt Drive will also have high-end indoor and outdoor amenities.
Livana East Hanover, meantime, is set to launch at 72 Eagle Rock Ave. in the Morris County township, offering 265 homes ranging from one- to three-bedroom floorplans, the news release said. The four-building complex will also come with amenities such as a clubhouse.
Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners is the architect for both projects.
Future properties under the new brand will include Livana Pier Village in Long Branch, Livana Colts Neck, Livana Monmouth Square in Eatontown and Livana Livingston, which are in various stages of design and construction.
“The introduction of Livana represents an exciting opportunity for us to expand our portfolio of exceptional residential properties,” said Michael Sommer, Kushner’s chief development officer. “We are committed to growing Livana’s presence, delivering elegant living experiences that resonate with today’s discerning renters.”
