Prism Capital Partners has filled the final retail space at a mixed-use development in Dunellen, securing a new 3,800-square-foot lease with a full-service dental practice.
The business, MB Dental Care, will open at 100 South Washington Ave. alongside Blue Foundry Bank and Kessler Rehabilitation Center. It also joins 252 luxury apartments built by Prism and 130 for-sale townhomes developed by K. Hovnanian Cos., which make up the residential portion of what’s known as The Nell.
Stephen Battista of Jeffery Realty represented Prism in the latest lease.
“From the start, The Nell was intended to serve as an integrated extension of Dunellen’s vibrant downtown, with a retail component that would serve the entire community,” said Robert Fourniadis, Prism’s senior vice president for residential. “We’ve achieved that goal with a terrific group of convenience tenants to meet everyday needs.”
Located across from NJ Transit’s Dunellen station, The Nell has revitalized a former industrial property in the central business district. Spiezle Architectural Group designed the award-winning project, which incorporates modern interpretations of vintage transit-themed elements including peaked roofs, contrasting trim and signage, a theme that’s on display at the 9,300-square-foot retail building.
Prism noted that MB Dental Care is under the direction of Dr. Ahmed Beheiry, who is affiliated with iSmiles Dental Care in Union.
