JLL has bolstered its real estate services team in New Jersey with the addition of four well-known office brokers.
The firm said Tuesday that it hired Timothy Greiner and Frank Recine as executive managing directors, Blake Goodman as executive vice president and Brendan McBride as senior vice president. They will join JLL’s Parsippany office and will work closely with Daniel Loughlin, international director and the firm’s head of New Jersey office brokerage.
“JLL’s real estate professionals are widely recognized for their ability to negotiate intricate real estate transactions and deliver cost-effective alternatives for clients,” Loughlin said in a prepared statement. “These high-performing and reputable experts bring a balanced combination of tenant representation, agency leasing and cultural alignment that will expand our presence and influence in New Jersey.”
The brokerage team joins JLL from Newmark Knight Frank.
Greiner, 45, was also named agency lead and will oversee all agency leasing efforts for JLL in New Jersey, the firm said. He served as executive managing director with his previous firm and has negotiated more than 400 lease transactions totaling more than 8 million square feet.
Earlier, Greiner was vice president of leasing for the Gale Co., where he oversaw the leasing for a 3 million-square-foot owned and managed portfolio in New Jersey, New York and Michigan. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with a minor in business administration, from Vanderbilt University and earned his law degree from Rutgers University.
Recine, 41, rose to become the youngest principal at his previous firm and was later promoted to executive managing director, JLL said in a news release. He also was a senior associate at another major New Jersey real estate brokerage firm and, prior to his real estate career, was a case manager with the law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Recine earned a degree in political science from Penn State University and his juris doctor, with a focus in environmental laws and regulations, from Pace University Law School.
In his previous firm, Goodman served as senior managing director. The 35-year-old industry veteran has worked with prominent corporations as a tenant representative and as an account manager and global transaction manager for Albemarle Corp.’s global real estate portfolio.
Goodman received a bachelor’s degree from Boston University with a concentration in finance.
Prior to joining JLL, McBride, 46, served as a director with his prior firm. He provided tenant representation and agency leasing services for corporate and institutional clients, with a focus on the acquisition and disposition of office properties, while having also served as an associate at another major New Jersey real estate brokerage firm.
McBride received a bachelor’s degree from College of the Holy Cross.
Greiner is active with the United Way, where he chairs a real estate networking luncheon that has raised over $2.5 million for local New Jersey charities, JLL said. He was also named to the organization’s board of trustees for northern New Jersey.
Recine is an executive board member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Spectrum for Living, ARC of Rockland and The Onyx & Breezy Foundation.
Goodman serves as a board member for ARC, the Association for Corporate Growth. He also is co-chair of the United Way of Northern New Jersey’s Commercial Real Estate Steering Committee and actively involved with the New Jersey Technology Council and Newark Regional Business Partnership.
McBride serves on the board of Mary’s Gift Irish Language Foundation and is an active member of the New Jersey Business Assembly.
