REDCOM Design & Construction is among the newest supporters this year for The Valerie Fund, a nonprofit supporting children with cancer and blood disorders.
The Westfield-based firm was a first-time participant in the organization’s walk and 5K run last month, raising nearly $4,000 in contributions from industry partners, employees, friends and family. The REDCOM team included Manager of Special Projects Joe Orsita, Vice President of Preconstruction Vinny Calabresi and Senior Vice President of Sales Sam Rockaway.
The Valerie Fund, which is based in Maplewood, supports comprehensive health care services and psychosocial programs for children with cancer and blood disorders close to home.
“REDCOM is proud to support The Valerie Fund and the services it provides to children and their families,” Rockaway said. “REDCOM has been operating in New Jersey for over 40 years and it’s great to give back to our local communities.”
