The owner of a medical office complex in Belleville has completed two lease renewals totaling more than 5,000 square feet, according to a team with NAI James. E Hanson.
Brokers with the firm represented the landlord, Everest 50 Newark MOB LLC, in the deals at 5 Franklin Ave. and 50 Newark Ave. Both locations are part of the Clara Maass Campus Medical Offices site, which spans more than 127,000 square feet across three standalone buildings and is home to a series of acute care facilities under the RWJBarnabas Health system.
NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning worked alongside co-broker Versa Property Management to secure the renewals. The tenants, which were not disclosed, occupy a combined 5,110 square feet at a campus that includes a comprehensive cancer center, a breast health and disease management center, a radiation oncology department, cardiac services and emergency services.
“In the two years that we have overseen leasing for this campus, we have ensured that every tenant has renewed their lease,” Lizzack said. “We are thrilled to help tenants remain in their spaces at the world-class health care destination so they can continue to deliver invaluable care to the local community.”
Lizzack and Horning also completed a 3,383-square-foot renewal and expansion by Dynamic Peak Physical Therapy at 75 Orient Way in Rutherford. They represented both 75 Orient Way LLC, the landlord at the 23,501-square-foot medical office building, and the tenant.
Located in downtown Rutherford, the structure has a granite tile lobby, an upgraded medical elevator, two conference rooms and 86 private parking spaces. Other tenants include Meadows Surgery Center, Frost Dental Group, Geria Dermatology and The Tootharium.
“It was a pleasure to help accommodate Dynamic Peak Physical Therapy’s growing business by helping it expand into another suite,” Horning said. “Having been fully renovated in 2006 and upgraded since, the building is fully equipped to fit the needs of its tenants, no matter the size of their practice.”
