The state’s commercial real estate industry turned out last week at the new-look One Gateway Center in Newark, the host of the annual Big Climb event, helping to raise more than $58,000 in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Those on hand included members of Rock Brook, the Monroe-based engineering firm, part of a team that climbed 26 flights of stairs for the fundraiser. Top corporate teams included Team Onyx, Structure Tone NJ, Guardian Service Industries, BOMA New Jersey and Metro Elevator.
Onyx Equities leads an investment group that has repositioned One Gateway and the Gateway complex’s busy commuter concourse, creating a new food and hospitality hub adjacent to Newark Penn Station. Rock Brook is among several firms that have worked on the project.
