An engineering firm has leased nearly 5,800 square feet of office space in Somerset County, in one of three newly announced deals by Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey.
In a news release, the brokerage team said Hannington Engineering is moving to the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township from western Morris County. Resource Realty Principal Brian Wilson arranged the 5,750-square-foot lease at 233 Mount Airy Road, citing the region’s appeal for businesses seeking quality, modern amenities and accessibility.
He also noted that the two-story, 66,000-square-foot property has modern common areas and efficient floor plans, plus an upscale lobby with granite flooring, meticulous landscaping, a loading dock, ample parking and 24/7 security card access.
“The building’s location directly off Exit 26B of I-287 places it in the heart of Somerset County’s prestigious blue-chip corridor, providing convenient access to major thoroughfares,” Wilson said. “Nearby amenities include the YMCA, hotels, restaurants and retail options.”
Wilson also arranged a 2,150-square-foot lease at 321 Palmer Road in Denville on behalf of Viking Pest Control and an undisclosed landlord, according to a news release. In a separate Morris County transaction, at 601 Jefferson Road in Parsippany, he and RRNNJ Principal Greg Sabato arranged a lease extension by Gold Home Care.
The brokers represented both the landlord, Woodmont Properties, and the tenant in the deal at the two-story, 11,000-square-foot office condominium building suited for general or medical use, the news release said. Offerings include ample parking and convenient access to nearby highways and a shopping center.
“These transactions illustrate the sustained demand for strategically located office space across northern New Jersey, from small to midsized local businesses,” Sabato said. “Companies recognize that accessibility for both employees and clients remains a key driver in their location decisions.”
