Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has completed a new lease that will bring a pharmaceutical company to its mixed-use Glenpointe campus in Teaneck.
The tenant, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., is taking an undisclosed amount of space at the complex for what Sanzari described as “an innovative new workspace.” The move will give the Marlborough, Massachusetts-based firm a location at the intersection of interstates 80 and 95, with access to a host of dining, retail and amenity spaces at the 50-acre property.
“Today’s office experience must revolve around creating spaces that inspire and motivate employees,” said Carolina Gutierrez, a leasing and marketing manager at ASE. “We welcome Sunovion Pharmaceuticals to Glenpointe, which is ideally suited to help their team continue its life-changing work and we look forward to their presence on the campus.”
Glenpointe is home to 670,000 square feet of office space, along with a 26,000-square-foot fitness center, three hotels with a combined 700 rooms and casual and upscale dining options. Sanzari recently completed a series of enhancements across the campus aimed at appealing to modern office users, including redesigned common areas and the addition of a 22,000-square-foot outdoor amenity space known as The Green.
The developer also formed a partnership with Better Spaces, a tenant engagement service that operates an on-site community lounge known as The Pointe and a virtual platform, offering tenants more than 40 programs and classes per week.
“This lease exemplifies how Glenpointe’s high level of adaptability, full suite of in-demand amenities and unparalleled location continue to make it a destination for tenants from across the state’s robust business community,” said Jerry Barta, the firm’s vice president and director for leasing and marketing. “We look forward to welcoming Sunovion to the campus and building upon our relationship in the years to come.”
Newmark and CBRE represented the landlord and tenant, respectively, while Gibbons PC and Cole Schotz PC provided legal services for the respective parties.
“With support of the Alfred Sanzari team we are able to take advantage of designing an innovative new space to enhance the work experience for our employees in New Jersey and the tristate area,” said Linda Arsenault, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Sunovion. “Glenpointe provides us with a dynamic, efficient and flexible workspace that aligns with being a best place to work, with amenities and offerings for employees in this important region for our business.”
