Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has promoted longtime team member John Schleer to vice president of construction, the Teaneck-based firm announced.
In his new role, Schleer will continue to grow his leadership position as he guides all aspects of the company’s construction operations, from tenant buildouts to property capital improvements to ground-up development, according to a news release. He will also work closely with its in-house property management and leasing teams as well as third-party contractors and professionals.
Schleer joined Alfred Sanzari Enterprises in 2007 and most recently was its director of construction.
“Over the past 16 years, John’s unique expertise and leadership in successfully navigating the challenges in the field and from the broader supply chain have ensured our projects are delivered both on time and on budget,” said Ryan Sanzari, the firm’s president. “This promotion serves to recognize his important role in our success and the tremendous value he brings to our company each day. I have no doubt that his experience, track record and collaborative spirit will continue to accelerate our success as an organization.”
Schleer, a Randolph resident, started with Sanzari as a construction project manager. He attended Rutgers University.
“Since day one, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has been defined by its focus on quality construction,” Schleer said. “I am excited to build upon this legacy as I step into this new role and ensure our construction capabilities continue to follow the gold standard of construction this firm has established and is continuously recognized for.”
