Alfred Sanzari Enterprises is on track to complete a new 350-room, dual-branded hotel in Teaneck by next year, the firm said recently as it marked the completion of vertical construction.
During a ceremony at its mixed-use Glenpointe complex, the developer touted the construction milestone for a building that will include 190 rooms under the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton brand and another 160 under the Homewood Suites by Hilton flag. Both brands will share the same entrance, meeting room, function space, fitness center and parking garage.
March Associates Construction Inc. is serving as the construction manager for the project.
The hotel will mark the latest addition to the Glenpointe campus, which sits at the nexus of interstates 95 and 80 in Bergen County. Located minutes from the George Washington Bridge, the 50-acre complex includes three office buildings, a 350-room Marriott hotel and a 26,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, among several other retailers and amenities.
Upon completion, the hotel is expected to bring more than 6,000 guests per month to the area and will create dozens of permanent hospitality-related jobs, Sanzari said.
