Real estate and land use attorney Benjamin A. Nadell has joined the ranks of partner with Saul Ewing LLP’s Princeton-based team.
The law firm announced the promotion last week, noting that Nadell advises clients, particularly in New Jersey, on legal matters starting with the preparation of their site plan application, through the public approval process and through resolution compliance and securing construction permits. He focuses on zoning and land use approvals, including redevelopment projects as well as site plan, subdivision and variance applications.
“Cultivating the next generation of outstanding lawyers, business developers and firm leaders is vital to our continued success and growth,” said Jason St. John, Saul Ewing’s managing partner. “I have no doubt that Ben and his fellow attorneys will rise to the challenges to come.”
Nadell also maintains a public utility land use practice and assists clients with securing entitlements pertaining to public utility infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey, according to his bio. Aside from his zoning and land use practice, he regularly counsels developers on the acquisition and disposition of real property, along with construction and commercial leasing matters, while also representing clients in the formulation of complex easement agreements, the resolution of property boundary disputes and landlord-tenant litigation.
With a juris doctor from Rutgers Law School, Camden, and a bachelor’s from Temple University, Nadell is a former judicial law clerk to Superior Court Judge Ronald L. Reisner.
During law school, he was an avid participant in the Rutgers Federal Prisoner Re-Entry Project, and, through his current pro bono work, he continues to represent individuals with obtaining criminal history expungements.
