Seagis Property Group has secured a new tenant after leasing nearly 8,700 square feet at a Carteret industrial building, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced this week.
The user, Architextural, is expanding to New Jersey as part of the transaction at 1001 Roosevelt Ave., according to a news release. BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz, Vice President Eric Koons and Sales Associate Benito Abbate represented both parties in the 8,654-square-foot deal.
“Functional space with ample loading, excellent access and traffic exposure will continue to see demand in the constrained port-proximate New Jersey industrial market,” Abbate said. “Architextural was diligent and efficient through the lease-up process, enabling them to secure a New Jersey expansion property with room to grow. We are pleased to see Architextural’s continued success and multistate expansion in Carteret.”
The Metz team noted that 1001 Roosevelt Ave., a 93,286-square-foot building near the New Jersey Turnpike and other highways, provides easy access to Port Newark-Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport. The facility has 17 tailboards and three drive-in doors, 15-foot ceiling heights, 400 to 500 amps of electric power, wet sprinklers and 40 surface spaces.
