Seagis Property Group has filled some 25,000 square feet of industrial space in the Meadowlands with new leases to a logistics service provider and a national stone company.
The landlord said the tenants, which were undisclosed, took 14,000 and 11,000 square feet at 745 Gotham Parkway in Carlstadt. It announced the deals on Tuesday, less than a year after detailing its purchase of the 31,000-square-foot facility that’s minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 80 and the Lincoln Tunnel.
“Part of our investment strategy since our formation over 20 years ago is the acquisition and repositioning of small buildings in northern and central New Jersey,” Seagis’ Rowan Brumbaugh said. “This building and its location in the Gotham Industrial Park fit our target investment profile and upon closing we immediately commenced our repositioning plan to modernize the building. We were able to attract two great customers and are excited to welcome them to Seagis.”
Brumbaugh credited brokers Thomas Nuara of Resource Realty of Central New Jersey, who represented ownership, as well as James McNerney of Silver Edge Real Estate and Jimmy Yamauchi of Cushman & Wakefield, who represented the tenants.
