Signature Acquisitions is touting a strong start to the year for its New Jersey office portfolio after inking nearly a dozen deals for new leases, expansions and renewals.
According to the firm, the first-quarter activity includes a new 7,607-square-foot commitment at 100 Walnut Ave. in Clark by Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, a transportation logistics company headquartered in Germany. At 25 Commerce Drive in Cranford, Signature secured a 5,498-square-foot lease with Premier Mental and Behavioral Health, which will be a new addition to the 67,749-square-foot building along the Garden State Parkway.
The landlord — which completed more than 160,000 square feet of new, expanded and renewed leases in 2023 — also recorded two lease expansions and three renewals during Q1 across its Clark and Cranford portfolio.
“We are pleased to see continued new leasing activity, along with several renewals and expansions, in our New Jersey office portfolio,” said Sandy Monaghan, senior vice president and director of leasing at Signature Acquisitions. “Our success is driven by providing adaptable office spaces paired with a focus on tenant service that continually provides value to new and existing tenants. This operating philosophy continues to prove successful in this ever-changing office market.”
The firm’s Q1 lease expansions at 25 Commerce Drive were with financial services firms Fidelis Investors and Gramercy Capital, according to a news release. Meantime, it secured renewals in the area with Union Home Mortgage and accounting firm Weinstein and Spellman LLC, which occupy spaces at 20 Commerce Drive and 14 Commerce Drive, respectively.
Its Q1 renewals also included a deal with Cali Futures Co., the successor company to the storied Cali Associates and later Mack-Cali Realty Corp., which developed the Parkway Commerce Center office park in Cranford. The company will continue to manage its real estate holdings and investments from its office at 11 Commerce Drive.
Other Q1 deals are as follows:
- Dole Fresh Fruit Co. renewed its lease at Waterview Plaza at 2001 Route 46 in Parsippany.
- Anthony Magaro, a boutique financial services firm, renewed its lease at 1055 Parsippany Blvd. in Parsippany.
- James P. O’Day CPA signed a new lease at 888 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge, New York.
