Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has tapped Silbert Realty & Management Co. as its retail leasing agent for a prominent, 85,000-square-foot medical office property in Hackensack.
Completed in 2002, the Alfred N. Sanzari Medical Arts Building at 360 Essex St. includes 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space currently home to Starbucks, BITE Food & Coffee Co. and Bank of America. The property is also across the street from Hackensack University Medical Center, adding to the traffic generated by its health care tenants and from those traveling along the busy thoroughfare.
Sanzari will look to bring the building to full occupancy with a leasing team led by Silbert Realty CEO and President Brian Silbert and David Greenman, the firm’s senior vice president of retail services.
“For nearly 20 years, the Alfred N. Sanzari Medical Arts Building’s modern design, ease of access and unmatched location have made it the ideal home for health care and retail tenants alike,” said Jerry Barta, vice president of leasing and marketing at ASE. “We look forward to leveraging Silbert Realty & Management Co.’s retail leasing experience to drive activity at this one-of-a-kind building.”
The developer announced the assignment Wednesday, touting the site’s proximity to Interstate 80, routes 4, 17 and 46 and other highways. The property also has 360 surface and garage parking spots.
“In the retail world, location is everything,” Greenman said. “The Alfred N. Sanzari Medical Arts Building’s location just across the street from the state’s premier hospital and nearby to nearly all of the region’s major transportation arteries allow it to stand out among retail properties in northern New Jersey. We look forward to representing Alfred Sanzari Enterprises and working with their team to bring this building to full occupancy.”
