The UPS Store is coming to the base of a luxury apartment complex in downtown Woodbridge, marking the second retailer at the newly completed property by Prism Capital Partners.
Set to open in spring 2022, the store will occupy 1,100 square feet at what’s known as Avenue & Green, operating alongside the new LeGrand Coffee House slated to debut in January, Prism said. The deal follows the recent launch of leasing at the 232-unit property, located at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street, where the developer has repurposed the former site of an auto dealership.
The UPS Store will provide retail shipping, postal, print and small business services, with additional offerings such as mailboxes, passport photos and notary services.
“The UPS Store — a known and respected brand — will provide valued conveniences for Avenue & Green residents and the local neighborhood,” said Robert Fourniadis, Prism’s senior vice president for residential. “We are pleased to have UPS join anchor tenant LeGrand Coffee House as we continue to curate service providers that complement the aesthetic of both Avenue & Green and the surrounding community.”
Designed by Thomas J. Brennan Architects, Avenue & Green has 10,500 square feet of street-level retail space topped by a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes. The site boasts a location adjacent to an NJ Transit station and in the heart of Woodbridge’s walkable downtown, while residents have access to a host of upscale amenities.
