A fitness franchise has expanded to New Jersey after taking 4,000 square feet in Montvale, according to a brokerage team with The Goldstein Group.
The operator, Spenga Fitness, is leasing the space at 295 West Grand Ave. under a deal with 140 Hopper Avenue Associates LLC. Its new space will showcase a concept that puts equal focus on cardio-strength-flexibility all in one 60-minute workout, the brokers said, noting that the chain has more than 300 studios.
The Goldstein Group Principal Neil Goldstein and Executive Vice President Mark Handwerker represented both parties in the deal, which placed Spenga across the street from the borough’s busy Wegman’s- anchored center and near tenants such as City MD, Starbucks, Ulta Beauty and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
“Spenga is an exciting fitness franchisee that is coming to New Jersey,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “The Montvale site is in a prime market that offers excellent demographics.”
