A nearly 23,000-square-foot office building in Union County has changed hands for an undisclosed price, brokers with NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. announced Monday.
The building, located at 120 Mountain Ave. in Springfield, is less than a half-mile south of Interstate 78. Its new owner is a user that was seeking to expand in the region.
“We are pleased to have represented the purchaser in their office expansion and in the purchase of this property,” said Robert DiLeo, a principal with NAI DiLeo-Bram. “This building satisfied the purchaser’s locational needs while also allowing them to be in complete control of their office, benefiting its employees, and providing the safest possible working environment during these unusual times.”
DiLeo and Robert Dinner, an executive vice president with the Piscataway-based firm, represented the buyer. Colliers International’s Sam Horowitz and Chris Hovanec represented the seller.
“We had a very defined geography that was suitable to our client,” Dinner said. “Searching for properties during the start of the pandemic caused additional challenges, but we presented every viable location and fortunately were able to present a property that fulfilled its requirements.”
