The Stro Cos. has added three new tenants to its Bergen County portfolio, including one that is expanding in the region and two that are relocating from New York City.
The firm announced that it has leased 12,000 square feet at 500 West Main St. in Wyckoff to DaklaPack, a warehousing and distribution company. The tenant is relocating to the 120,000-square-foot building from Moonachie, Stro said, noting that the property is located near routes 208 and 4 and Interstate 287, with 21-foot ceiling heights, eight loading docks and six drive-ins.
Stro handled the transaction exclusively.
The second and third deals took place at 215 South Newman St. in Hackensack by tenants relocating from Brooklyn and Queens, the landlord said. Pinnacle Product Developers, a warehousing and distribution tenant, took 14,000 square feet, while third-party logistics firm SKR Trading committed to 19,500 square feet.
KenKap Realty’s George Eggers and Alexander Anderson Real Estate Group’s Michael Williams represented the respective tenants.
“We are pleased to have consummated these exciting leasing deals,” said Jack Shulman, director of leasing, acquisitions and capital markets at Stro. “Despite COVID-19, the demand for industrial space in northern New Jersey remains strong and I hope the momentum continues well into 2021.”
He added that 215 South Newman is located near Interstate 80, the New Jersey Turnpike, routes 17, 46 and 4 and the Garden State Parkway, making it “an ideal location for last mile delivery services.” The building totals roughly 85,000 square feet with eight tailgates, two drive-ins and 16-foot ceiling heights.
“George Eggers and Michel Williams were able to identify that 215 South Newman met their client’s needs and were great to work with,” Shulman said.
