The STRO Cos. has hired a 15-year construction industry veteran to support its in-house team and the ongoing growth of its commercial real estate portfolio.
Mark Jackson, who will serve as director of construction, joins the Ridgewood-based firm after serving as director of project management at Colliers. In his previous role, he and his team partnered with real estate investors on new development projects across the country.
“We are very pleased to have Mark join our firm,” said Jeffrey Buchman, STRO’s chief operating officer. “His vast experience and knowledge of project management and ground-up development will prove invaluable as we launch our multistate expansion and continue to meet our strategic growth objectives.”
The firm, which serves as the real estate arm of the Millstein family office, said Jackson holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester and a master’s in construction management from New York University.
“I look forward to building key partnerships and collaborating with the talented team at STRO on new projects, elevating our construction services and expanding our footprint nationally,” Jackson said.
