The STRO Cos. has hired a longtime commercial real estate industry executive in New Jersey as its new controller.
In a news release, the Ridgewood-based firm said Erik Otterbein brings 17 years of experience and joins its team after serving as controller for Paramount Assets. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions.
Prior to Paramount, Otterbein held positions at One Wall Management, Kushner and The Hampshire Cos.
“I am thrilled to welcome Erik to STRO,” said Jeff Pandolfo, the firm’s chief operating officer. “Erik brings extensive experience in property accounting and will be an invaluable addition to our team as we expand across New Jersey and the Southeast.”
Otterbein earned a bachelor’s in business and accounting from Fordham University and lives in northern New Jersey.
“I’m extremely excited for the opportunity at STRO,” he said. “I look forward to applying my skill set to help achieve STRO’s growth goals, while being an integral part of an already amazing team.”
