Savills Studley has hired a supply chain consulting professional in an effort to bolster its industrial services group, the tenant representation firm said this week.

The new hire, Aron Gunkelman, joins the firm as assistant director within the industrial group’s supply chain practice. Before joining Savills Studley, Gunkelman worked for a raw commodity sourcing company as a global supply chain manager who oversaw end-to-end operations — from emerging market sourcing in Latin America to distribution in the U.S.
“Aron’s extraordinary knowledge of supply chain logistics and analytics is an ideal complement to our industrial services group,” Thomas Carragher, senior vice president and branch manager at Savills Studley’s Hackensack office, said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to have him on board as we continue to grow Savills Studley’s industrial practice in New Jersey and throughout North America.”
Gunkelman has also worked as a supply chain analyst for a large national food distributor and as an agribusiness adviser of community economic development in Cameroon, West Africa.
“Savills Studley allows me the opportunity to focus solely on industrial occupiers and offer conflict-free advisory to clients,” Gunkelman said. “I look forward to working with Savills Studley’s industrial team to provide best-in-class services to the growing industrial sector.”
