A flooring manufacturer has leased more than 70,000 square feet at a Somerset County industrial building, in the largest of several newly announced transactions by Team Resources Inc.
The brokerage firm represented the tenant, Histrong America, in the 73,310-square-foot commitment at 50 Jiffy Road in the Somerset section of Franklin. The occupier’s new home is a single-story, single-tenant building featuring 10 loading docks, a drive-in dock and 20-foot ceilings heights.
Team Resources Vice President David Knapel, CEO David Cantor and President Greg Sholom completed the long-term lease on behalf of the vinyl flooring company, while Charles Fern of Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership.
“Histrong moved some production to the U.S. from China in order to be able to be more responsive to its expanding North American customer base,” Knapel said.
In Pine Brook, Team Resources Senior Executive Vice President Eric Lewin inked a lease renewal at 21-25 Riverside Drive. TeaWolf LLC, a natural extract company supporting the food, beverage and nutritional supplement industries, occupies two spaces totaling just over 27,000 square feet of warehouse space.
The Lyndhurst-based brokerage firm represented the tenant, while Scott Deutchman of American Properties represented the landlord.
Lewin and Stacey Wellins also represented the landlord in a recent 10,000-square-foot lease at 277 Lodi St. in Hackensack. Alex Yim of Kingstone Realty represented the tenant, Micropack Inc., an appliance distributor.
“The building’s close proximity to highways made this property a logical choice for Micropack,” Lewin said.
