A furniture rental business has renewed its 79,000-square-foot lease at a Secaucus industrial building, in one of three newly announced transactions by Team Resources Inc.
The brokerage firm represented ownership at 30 Enterprise Ave., where American Furniture Rentals will maintain its business of renting to apartment dwellers and homeowners. Greg Sholom and David Cantor completed the assignment, while Rob Steinhart and Mike Markey of Colliers International represented the tenant.
“The Secaucus location provides easy highway access to (New York City) and the entire metropolitan area,” Sholom said, “and they’ve been able to capitalize on the retail outlet reputation of Secaucus to sell overflow merchandise as well.”
Cantor and Sholom also announced the sale of an 18,345-square-foot property at 135 Grand St. in Carlstadt. An unnamed investment client acquired the one-story building for $3.35 million, Team Resources said, noting that the structure sits on 2.4 acres.
The building features four drive-in doors and a 24-foot ceiling height. Team Resources, which is marketing space at the complex, represented both parties in the sale.
Meantime, the brokers joined Eric Lewin in completing a lease at 265 West Commercial Ave. in Moonachie, where Compass Logistics International Inc. is taking 25,000 square feet. Team Resources represented ownership, while Pantheon Properties represented the international logistics firm.
