A furniture wholesaler has leased nearly 39,000 square feet of industrial space in Bergen County, in the largest of several newly announced deals by Team Resources Inc.
Brokers with the firm say the tenant, PJ Warehouse Inc., will occupy 38,537 square feet at 815 Fairview Ave. in Fairview. The space features 26-foot ceiling heights, 3,600 square feet of office space, six tailboard doors and one drive-in.
“The location, loading and high ceilings allows PJ to easily service their broad customer base in the (New York City and northern New Jersey) areas,” said Team Resources’ Eric Lewin, who represented ownership alongside Jeff Volpi. Scott Peck of Resource Realty represented the tenant.
Lewin and Joseph Manganaro, also of the Lyndhurst-based brokerage firm, also completed a 30,000-square-foot warehouse lease at 686 Grand Ave. in Ridgefield with Freight Connections Inc. They noted that the family-owned, nationwide trucking and shipping service will occupy a space with 45-foot clear ceiling heights and two tailboard doors.
“Easy access to (interstates 95 and 80) and other major highways make this location suitable and efficient for their distribution services,” Lewin said. “It will serve as additional storage for Freight Connections while keeping them in close proximity to their current location.”
Meantime, Lewin and Stacey Wellins Remnitz finalized two warehouse leases at 100 Stonehurst Court in Northvale, including 15,900-square-foot commitment by J&Y Trading, a distributor of food products. A second, undisclosed tenant took 13,386 square feet in the building.
“Taking this location has enabled J & Y to expand into a larger and more efficient space,” said Wellins Remnitz, whose firm represented both parties in each deal.
