A home décor retailer has leased 190,000 square feet at a Jersey City industrial building, in one of several recent transactions announced by Team Resources Inc.
The tenant, Home Essentials and Beyond, recently made the commitment at 45 East Linden Ave. Team Resources’ Greg Sholom and David Cantor represented the landlord, while Tom Gallagher of Savills Studley represented the tenant.
“This was an expansion move for Home Essentials, and we were able to dovetail their occupancy with the prior tenants’ move out, so the space was not empty at all,” Sholom said.
Cantor and Sholom, along with Shawn Roth, also brokered a 25,200-square-foot expansion at 245-255 Secaucus Road in Secaucus with FH Group International Inc. The Lyndhurst-based firm represented the landlord, while Jeff Chaus of Chaus Realty represented the tenant.
“FH continues to grow and took advantage of this availability to add to the 57,000 (square feet) it already occupies,” Sholom said.
Meantime, the firm announced an 18,000-square-foot lease at 243 Veterans Blvd. in Carlstadt with ET Enterprises, a local e-commerce business. Team Resources represented both parties.
“Because of our market knowledge and by working together, we were able to put this deal together before the space officially became available,” Roth said.
Finally, Sholom and Cantor renewed Paris Baguette America Inc.’s 37,000-square-foot lease at 137 West Commercial Ave. in Moonachie. The duo represented the landlord, while Byung Chung of Realty 7 represented the tenant.
