NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. has negotiated the sale of a 12,143-square-foot retail property in Plainfield for $1.7 million, the brokerage firm announced.
According to the team of Marc Shein and Kelly Bayer, which represented the seller at 607-619 Park Ave., the buyer is an existing tenant that operates two stores, a Chinese food restaurant and a convenience store within the property. Other long-term tenants in the property include a pharmacy, bakery, restaurant and mobile phone store.
“We are pleased to have closed this transaction on behalf of our client,” said Shein, a senior vice president. “This location is walkable from downtown Plainfield which is laden with restaurants and retailers, and is close to the Plainfield train station. These features where important to the buyer whose business has grown in this location and wanted to remain in the community permanently.”
Sitting on a high-traffic street, 609-617 Park Ave. is surrounded by housing and also within walking distance of NJ Transit bus service, NAI DiLeo-Bram said. The single-story retail building has eight storefronts, a rear parking lot and ample street parking.
