A mixed-use property in Dumont will be the new home of a fireplace showroom, following a lease arranged by brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
The tenant, Precast To Go, will occupy 1,225 square feet at 125 Washington Ave. under the transaction with DMP Dumont LLC, according to a news release. The company will relocate from South Hackensack to the recently updated, 22,155-square-foot property.
“Despite the long-term economic impacts of COVID-19 that are still rippling through the retail sector, well-located, high-visibility retail spaces continue to attract businesses of all sizes,” NAI Hanson’s David Ukleja said. “Additionally, well-maintained and unique properties like 125 Washington Avenue stand out for a wide range of tenants ranging from office to medical to retail users who are all looking to return to work and a sense of normalcy as the pandemic continues to wane.”
The NAI Hanson team of Darren Lizzack, Randy Horning and Ukleja represented both parties, noting that 125 Washington serves office, professional, medical and retail users. Located at the East Madison Avenue intersection, the property features 50 surface-level parking spaces and a glass atrium that brings natural light into the building’s common areas.
