Three tenants have joined the ground-floor retail space at a new boutique apartment building in Paramus, leasing a combined 6,700 square feet at the Midland Avenue property.
According to The Goldstein Group, which represented ownership, the deals at 58 East Midland Ave. include a 2,100-square-foot commitment by Durante Physical Therapy. Also taking space are Ella’s Café and Lennon Brooks Hair Salon, which committed to 1,900 and 2,700 square feet, respectively, at the base of the 45-unit residential property.
The Goldstein Group’s Chuck Lanyard and Marc Palestina completed the assignment on behalf of 5058 Midland LLC. Developed by Andrew Cohen, the property known as Fifty58 opened in 2019, benefiting from a location between Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway and minutes from the borough’s major malls and retail hubs.
The brokerage firm announced the deals last week as part of a flurry of new transactions in Paramus. Lanyard and Palestina also represented both parties in a deal at 231 Route 4 West, where Strand Salon Studios leased 4,300 square feet from NTH 231W LLC.
Elsewhere, the duo brokered a 6,000-square-foot transaction at 385 Route 17 South between Dogtas Furniture USA Inc. and Carlson Family Foundation Inc. Meantime, Krispy Kreme leased a 4,000-square-foot former McDonald’s space at 247 Route 4 West, with Lanyard and Palestina representing the landlord and David Townes and Alana Freidman of Cushman & Wakefield representing the tenant.
“We are pleased to see the activity for retail sales and leasing in New Jersey coming back so strongly, especially in Paramus,” Lanyard said.
