A third-generation trucking firm has sold its office and depot facility in Somerset County for $1.5 million, in a newly announced deal by Deluccia Commercial Group.
According to the brokerage team, the Cargo Xpress property in Green Brook spans 4,990 square feet and sits on 2.62 acres at 365 Route 22 East. Broker Tim Deluccia represented the seller, which specialized in overnight service to the Northeast during its six decades in business, and the buyer, Jersey City-based Jay Dee Trucking.
The Bridgewater-based broker noted that demand for trailer storage facilities remains high, prompting multiple offers and a final sale over the initial asking price.
